Here is the good news about SCA on the occasion of the New Year.
The SCA high school students achieved great success in two official international competitions, namely the National Economics Challenge (NEC) and the Junior Canadian Chemistry Olympiad (JCCO）!
National Economics Challenge (NEC)

Introduction of NEC
The National Economics Challenge (NEC) is an influential economic academic activity for high school students. It is a comprehensive evaluation of students' economic knowledge, problem-solving ability and critical thinking habits.
After more than 20 years of development, more than 15,000 students are invited to participate every year. After being introduced into China in 2016, it has covered more than 300 schools in over 20 provinces and regions, benefiting tens of millions of financial and business students. Its academic activities and contestants have been widely supported and recognized by well-known financial institutions on Wall Street and top universities in the world. Every year, more than 20% of NEC American finalists are admitted to high-quality famous schools such as Harvard, Yale and Stanford. More than 60% of them have entered American Ivy League schools and British G5, which is of great help to students who want to apply for business (economics and finance, market management), mathematics and other majors.
NEC is an international competition with the highest level of economics. Integrating knowledge of AP, IB and A-Level, NEC is helpful for students who want to apply for economic majors in famous schools.

The Junior Canadian Chemistry Olympiad (JCCO), sponsored by the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC), is one of the most authoritative academic chemistry competitions in Canada. Meanwhile, JCCO also contributes to the pre-selection of Canadian Chemistry Contest (CCC) and Canadian Chemistry Olympiad (CCO).
The Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC) is one of the world famous authoritative chemical academic institutions, which is composed of three chemical organizations, namely the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC), the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering (CSChE) and the Canadian Society for Chemical Technology (CSCT).
The Junior Canadian Chemistry Olympiad (JCCO) focuses on examining students' chemical logical thinking, which is widely recognized in academic and professional aspects. It can be a plus when applying for universities in Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, China and other countries and regions. The examination contents include basic organic chemistry, basic kinetics, basic thermodynamics, calculation of pH value, concentration and molar mass, etc.
